Global Pro Wrestling Association?

Tokyo Sports is reporting today that there will be a new force in Japanese wrestling as pretty much all of the bosses in Japan have gotten together along with foreign groups and will form a joint organization called the Global Pro Wrestling Association. Former ZERO-ONE MAX President Yoshiyuki Nakamura has been appointed as the president of the group and NOAH President Mitsuharu Misawa has been appointed the chairman. The organizations that have signed up so far for this project are BML/DDT/El Dorado/EWA (Europe)/IWA Japan/K-DOJO/Kensuke Office/NOAH/ROH/WLW/World-1/ZERO-ONE MAX. All-Japan President Keiji Muto said that he is very interested in this idea and negotiations are underway but New Japan is being hesitant right now. Once everything is set in stone then the GPWA front office will come up with rules and a committee will be appointed and in another interesting situation, to wrestle for the GPWA you have to get a license. GPWA also wants to build their own dojo that trainees can work out at and they want to support wrestlers after they retire. GPWA will also have their own titles and their own feuds but there is no set timetable on when or if this idea will come off.
