IWGP Tag Titles News & Return Of Nakamura

New Japan President Simon Kelly Inoki had a teleconference with New Japan VP Naoki Sugehayashi stating that if Masahiro Chono & Hiroyoshi Tenzan don’t patch up their differences and decide to defend their IWGP Tag Titles then he would have no choice but to strip them of the titles. Simon said that he would sanction a match on 10/9 at Sumo Hall between the IWGP Interim Tag Champs Wild Child (Manabu Nakanishi & Takao Omori) and a team of his choosing that would include the returning Shinsuke Nakamura. Simon stated that he has talked to Nakamura a good bit lately and will be meeting him this week in Hollywood where he hopes to close the deal to bring Nakamura back home to show off his new body (he has gained 22 pounds.)
