4/28 – Nippon Budokan Hall drawing 15,000 fans (G+)
1. Makoto Hashi & Jun Izumida beat Tsutomu Hirayanagi & Mitsuo Momota in 10:11 when Hashi used the Goriman’s Driver on Hirayanagi.
2. Joe E. Legend/Kishin Kawabata/Kentaro Shiga defeated Yoshinobu Kanemaru/Shuhei Taniguchi/Akira Taue in 12:42 when Legend used the Hospital Job on Taniguchi.
3. Taiji Ishimori/KENTA/Mohammed Yone beat American Dragon/Daniel Cross/Ted DiBiase Jr. in 14:30 when Yone used the Muscle Buster on Cross. Ishimori said after the match that he wants to get back in the GHC Jr. Heavyweight Title hunt this year.
4. Masao Inoue/Akitoshi Saito/Bison Smith defeated Tamon Honda/Tsuyoshi Kikuchi/Yoshinari Ogawa in 15:46 when Smith used the Bisontennial on Kikuchi.
5. CIMA/Dragon Kid/Susumu Yokosuka beat Naomichi Marufuji/Yoshinori Ota/Ricky Marvin in 15:34 when Yokosuka used the Mugen on Ota. CIMA stated after the match that it was an honor for Typhoon to be able to participate on a NOAH show at the Budokan and he said that he would like to wrestle either Marufuji or Marvin in a singles match in the future.
6. GHC Jr. Heavyweight Title: Mushiking Terry defeated Tatsuhito Takaiwa in 16:48 with the Myst Crash to win the title.
7. GHC Tag Titles: Jun Akiyama & Takeshi Rikio beat Takashi Sugiura & Yoshihiro Takayama in 27:10 when Rikio used the Muso on Sugiura to retain their titles. TAKA Michinoku & KAZMA entered the ring after the match and petitioned for a shot at the champs and then TAKA announced that RO&D would be reformed in NOAH as he will be bringing in D-Lo Brown & Bull Buchanan. Akiyama told TAKA that he doesn’t know any of those guys and then TAKA left. TAKA was asked in the locker room about why RO&D is reforming in NOAH and he said that NOAH needs to get interesting again and this is the perfect place for the revival of RO&D.
8. GHC Heavyweight Title: Mitsuharu Misawa defeated Naoki Sano in 16:38 with a modified Emerald Frosion to retain his title.
