Akira Taue Wants A Shot At The GHC Title

Akira Taue became the first man to throw his hat in the ring for the next shot at Mitsuharu Misawa’s GHC Heavyweight Title saying that their generation still has something left to show the world. Taue admitted that he hasn’t had the strongest results lately but he is still a former champion and basically compared himself to a dormant volcano ready to explode. Taue said that he hopes Misawa will pick him for the shot because being 46-years-old this is probably his last chance at being in the main event at Nippon Budokan Hall. Taue said that if he wins the GHC Heavyweight Title he wants to defend against Kenta Kobashi in his return match.
